District Orchid Society


Parramatta and District Orchid Society meets in the Banksia Room at the Wentworthville Community Centre, Wentworthville on the 4th Tuesday of the month. The main meeting starts at 8.00pm, whilst the popular "Green Growers Group" - led by Terry Davis - starts at 6.45pm. There is a superb benching of flowering orchids each meeting, plus entertaining and educational guest speakers.



Next meeting ~ 24th November, 2009

The next meeting starts a bit earlier (7pm), and there will be no Green Growers Group or Sales Table. All the prizes for the annual point score competition will also be presented.

We will be having our Mega Christmas auction with donated plants from our members. Bring your $$$ with you as this is our main fundraiser for the year. The Committee will be providing the prizes for our monster raffle.

January 26th 2010 Meeting - Will be a presentation on our societies outing in October to the Blue Mountains. The scenery and the wildflowers - including the orchids!
